The Five Sisters and the South Glen Shiel Ridge are particular favourites of Munro baggers, whilst the Saddle is one of the most magnificent mountains in all Scotland. Closer to Skye is Lochalsh around the shores of Loch Duich. This area offers varied walking with villages such as Plockton as well as the areas main town at Kyle of Lochalsh. Across the dramatic Mam Ratagan pass is the remote and secluded Glenelg peninsula, a tranquil and peaceful haven remote from busy routes.
